We recently made a donation to a charity event at Wivelsfield primary school which is local to us.
The whole school took part to raise money for the NSPCC. To launch the event, Sally Stubbs from the NSPCC led some assemblies focused on keeping safe and saying no to bullying and also held workshops for some of the older children. To raise money, classes chose different sponsored challenges to complete during PE sessions, most of which were very active mini-circuits.
The school raised the grand total of £2327.59 and the head teacher commented that the NSPCC had said “I have loved working with your school and the enthusiasm shown by the children has been wonderful’.
From all of us here at BSW, we congratulate all those involved on raising so much money for such a great cause and we were delighted to help towards that overall total.
